A motorcyclist and his pillion passenger, both from Xewkija, were injured after he lost control and crashed in Triq tas-Salvatur, Xewkija.
They were taken to Gozo General Hospital where the passenger was certified to have sustained serious injuries.
The accident happened at around 6.15pm on Tuesday.
