The Ministry of Health has confirmed that four elderly people died after testing positive for Covid-19.
In the first case, a 72-year-old man, who tested positive for Covid-19 on December 8, died yesterday at the Good Samaritan Long Term Care Facility.
In the second case, a 78-year-old man, who was confirmed positive for Covid-19 on December 16, died yesterday at Mater Dei Hospital.
In the third case, a 72-year-old woman who tested positive for Covid-19 on December 2, died yesterday at Mater Dei Hospital.
In the fourth case, a 75-year-old man, who was confirmed positive for Covid-19, on December 14, died yesterday at Mater Dei Hospital.
The Ministry of Health, while offering its condolences to the families of the elderly, calls for vigilance and prevention measures, including the wearing of masks and social distancing.
