The Ministry of Health has confirmed that three elderly people died after testing positive for Covid-19.
In the first case, an 86-year-old woman, who was confirmed positive for Covid-19 on December 8, died yesterday at Mater Dei Hospital.
In the second case, a 69-year-old man, who tested positive for Covid-19 on December 1, died yesterday at the Good Samaritan Long-Term Care Facility.
In the third case of an 87-year-old woman who tested positive for Covid-19 on December 15, she died yesterday at Mater Dei Hospital.
The Ministry of Health, while offering its condolences to the relatives of the elderly, calls for everyone to remain vigilant and follow preventive measures even during these holidays.
