The Ministry of Health has confirmed that three elderly people died while being positive for Covid-19.
In the first case, a 99-year-old woman, who was tested positive for Covid-19 on December 8, died yesterday at Mater Dei Hospital.
In the second case, a 94-year-old woman, who was tested positive for Covid-19 on December 9, died yesterday at Mater Dei Hospital.
In the third case, an 86-year-old man, who tested positive for Covid-19 on November 28, died earlier today at Mater Dei Hospital.
The Ministry of Health, while offering its condolences to the relatives of the elderly, calls for everyone to remain vigilant and follow preventive measures even during these holidays.
