Minister Miriam Dall took part in a meeting of the Energy Council of Ministers where the way forward in energy policies was discussed.
Minster Dalli said, “I will definitely work for more ambition to reach carbon neutrality but at the same time I want to ensure that our realities as a country are considered. The needs of bigger Northern EU countries are different from Southern EU Member States, particularly smaller Member States like Malta.
I will continue working hard for a strategy that will help us decarbonise our economies whilst putting consumers at the heart of this transition.”
