Stumped for what to give the thrill-seeking bookworm in your family for Christmas?
As of Tuesday 8 December, a brand-new audiobook available on Amazon’s Audible app may be just the gift idea you need.
Described by award-winning producer Alan Moloney as a ‘tautly written, entertaining
thriller that will keep the reader turning the pages right till the very end’ and ‘sitting
somewhere between The Da Vinci Code and Indiana Jones’, Fall Out is the thrilling debut
novel by Malta-based author M N Grenside. And, just in time for Christmas, it’s now
being released as an audiobook.
In the story, an LA screenwriter is killed shortly after sending his latest script to a
specific group of people – all connected to a movie that abruptly stopped shooting years
before and echoes sinister events from the past. Producer Marcus Riley sets out on an
increasingly dangerous quest to get the film made, and, alongside designer Melinda
(Mako) de Turris and other recipients of the screenplay, unravels a lethal puzzle,
pursued by an assassin from the past.
“I’m delighted that Fall Out is being released as an audiobook,” says Mr Grenside. “I love
the idea that readers can now experience this mile-a-minute adventure in an all-new
way, narrated so brilliantly by William Tulin.”
M N Grenside’s fast-paced page-turner is based on a true scandal of a multi-billion-
dollar theft and murder – and he’s used his own unique inside knowledge of the film
industry to craft and meticulously research it.
Now living in Malta, M N (Mark) Grenside’s illustrious media career began when he
worked for Jim Henson and The Muppets©, after which he produced several movies,
television series and mini-series across the entertainment industry. His music
management company launched major artist Neneh Cherry, while he arranged the $250
million buy-out of the Hallmark Channel International by NBC. More recently, he has
become a serial entrepreneur and is currently penning the follow-up novel to Fall Out,
titled The Bastion.
