The traditional exchange of greetings on New Year’s Day with the President of Malta have been canceled in light of the current Covid-19 situation.
The President’s Office issued a statement this afternoon:
“Considering the prevailing circumstances surrounding the Covid-19 pandemic and its impact on the local situation, the Office of the President regretfully notifies that the traditional exchange of New Year greetings with the President of Malta will not take place this year”.
