Ministry of Health has confirmed that four elderly people died after contracting Covid-19.

Ministry of Health has confirmed that four elderly people died after contracting Covid-19.

In the first case, a 75-year-old man, who was confirmed positive for Covid-19 on November 19, died late last night at Mater Dei Hospital.

In the second case, a 71-year-old man, who was confirmed positive for Covid-19 on October 29, died earlier today at Mater Dei Hospital.

In the third case, an 80-year-old man, who tested positive for Covid-19 on November 11, died earlier today at Mater Dei Hospital.

In the fourth case, a 94-year-old man, who was confirmed positive on November 16, died earlier today at the Good Samaritan Long Term Care Facility.

The Ministry of Health, while offering condolences to the families of the elderly, calls for everyone to follow the preventive measures; frequent hand washing, social distance and the use of masks, thus safeguarding the most vulnerable in our society.
