The Ministry of Health says that a 75-year-old man died after contracting Covid-19.
The man, who was suffering from another chronic illness, was admitted to Mater Dei hospital on November 3 and was confirmed positive for Covid-19 the next day, November 4. He died last night.
The Ministry of Health offers its condolences to the relatives of the elderly and calls on everyone to follow preventive measures, including wearing a mask everywhere, social distance and hand washing.
