Two people died after contracting Covid-19 health authorities report.
In the first case, an 82-year-old man was admitted to Mater Dei hospital on September 25 and tested positive for Covid-19 on October 26. He died yesterday at Mater Dei hospital.
In the second case, a 66-year-old man tested positive for Covid-19 on October 1 and was admitted to Mater Dei hospital on October 8. He continued to be treated in the Intensive Care Unit at Mater Dei Hospital where he died yesterday.
In both cases, the patients had other chronic illnesses.
