Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health Chris Fearne said that large family gatherings should be avoided this Christmas period as the battle to contain the Covid-19 pandemic continues.
He was speaking by phone on TVAM and said that just as groups of not more than six people are allowed outdoors, the same should apply indoors.
Minister Fearne once again made the point that the best protection against coronavirus is to wear a mask and keep a 2metre distance from people.
