From 23rd October 2020, the southbound carriageway of Sir Paul Boffa Avenue, from Marsa to Paola will be closed for several weeks for final phases of the Marsa junction project.
Drivers are advised to use these alternate routes.
The Dock 7 temporary road from Albert Town, Marsa to Corradino, Paola and Cottonera open Monday to Friday 7am-7pm, Saturdays 7am-1pm.
New flyover ramp from Marsa to L-Arkata Street (near A3 Towers), towards Paola centre (opening on Friday).
Santa Lucija Avenue (Addolorata Hill) exit to Il-Palma Street, towards Paola centre.
New, improved lanes to Paola and Tarxien from the Santa Lucija Roundabout and the new tunnels beneath it (direct link to Tal-Barrani Road – opening soon).
