Prime Minister Robert Abela has arrived in Brussels at the start of a two-day summit.

On the agenda, the 27 European leaders will be discussing the latest developments on the pandemic, as it rises again across the European continent.

They will also be discussing the European Union’s trade relations with the United Kingdom, as the transitional period ends at the end of this year and the agreement between the two sides is far from over.

Another important topic that European leaders will be discussing is climate change. Here they will discuss the European Commission’s plan for the Green Deal, which by 2050 the European continent will be carbon neutral.
