The Ministry of Health says that a 71-year-old man died after testing positive for Covid-19.
The man was admitted to Mater Dei Hospital on September 8 and was confirmed positive for Covid-19 on September 21. Although he has had negative tests for Covid-19 in recent days, due to the symptoms related to Covid-19 he was suffering from, this case is still considered an active case of Covid-19.
The senior, who had further health conditions, died at Mater Dei Hospital.
The Ministry of Health, while offering condolences to the relatives of the elderly, calls on the people to continue to follow the appeals of the Department of Health, including frequent hand washing, id social distance and mask use.
