A 96-year-old woman has died after testing positive for Covid-19 the Ministry of Health reports.
The elderly woman was admitted to Mater Dei Hospital on October 1 from the nursing home where she lived and was confirmed positive for Covid-19 that same day. She continued to be treated at Mater Dei hospital where she died earlier today.
The Ministry of Health, while offering condolences to the relatives of the elderly, calls on the people to continue to follow the appeals of the Department of Health, including frequent hand washing, social distance and mask use.
