The Ministry of Health reports that a 90-year-old woman died after testing positive for Covid-19.

The elderly woman was admitted to Mater Dei Hospital on 30 August with other medical conditions and was tested positive for Covid-19 on 30 September. The elderly woman continued to be treated at Mater Dei Hospital, where she died late last night.

The Ministry of Health, while offering condolences to the relatives of the elderly, calls on the people to continue to follow the appeals of the Department of Health, including frequent hand washing, id social distance, and the use of the mask.
