Ministry of Health has just been informed that two elderly patients died after testing positive for Covid-19.
In the first case, a 90-year-old was confirmed positive for Covid19 on 15 September and was admitted to Mater Dei Hospital on 27 September, where he died yesterday.
In the second case, a 78-year-old man tested positive for Covid-19 on September 10 and was admitted to Mater Dei Hospital on September 15, where he died that night.
Both had further health conditions.
The Ministry of Health, while offering condolences to the relatives of the elderly, calls on the people to continue to follow the appeals of the Department of Health, including frequent hand washing, id social distance and mask use.
