The Republic of Malta and the Russian Federation signed a Protocol Amending the Convention for the Avoidance of Double Taxation and Prevention of Fiscal Evasion with Respect to Taxes on Income. The original agreement on the avoidance of double taxation was signed on 24 April 2013.
This protocol was signed at the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation in Moscow, by the Deputy Minister of Finance of the Russian Federation, Alexey Sazanov, and by the Ambassador of Malta to the Russian Federation, Pierre Clive Agius.
Also present for the ceremony were the Deputy Head of Mission, Karl Littlejohn, and the Consul of Malta in Moscow, Karl Matthew Xuereb.
