Prime Minister Robert Abela has announced that the wage supplement for those in private employment is to be extended beyond October.
This is aimed at helping those who have been hard hit by the coronavirus pandemic.
Interviewed on ONE Television on Sunday, the prime minister said that the budget for next year will demonstrate the Government’s social soul, with an emphasis on pensioners, workers and making sure that no-one gets left behind.
