A 91-year-old woman dies after testing positive for Covid-19

A 91-year-old woman died after testing positive for Covid-19 the Ministry of Health has announced.

The elderly woman, who had further health conditions, was tested positive for Covid19 on 10 September and was admitted to Mater Dei hospital on 22 September, where she died  on Sunday.

The Ministry of Health, while offering condolences to the relatives of the elderly, calls on the people to continue to follow the appeals of the Department of Health, including frequent hand washing, id social distance and mask use.
