The Ministry of Health has been informed that a 78-year-old woman who died after testing positive for Covid-19.
The elderly woman was confirmed positive for Covid-19 for the first time on 11 August and was confirmed negative for Covid-19 on 28 August and 9 September.
Yesterday, the elderly woman was admitted to Mater Dei Hospital Emergency from Monte Carmeli Hospital and died yesterday while she was in the Emergency Department.
The Ministry of Health, while offering its condolences to the relatives has appealed to people to continue to follow the appeals of the Department of Health, including frequent hand washing, social distance and mask use.
