The ‘Tourist Walk in Birżebbuġa’, which consists of 21 places of historical and cultural interest in this village in the south of the country, has been given a new look to reflect better accessibility as tables of information about these sites had been badly damaged due to the natural elements.
The new appearance was made possible after an investment by the Foundation for the Development of Tourist Areas (FTZD) which forms part of the Ministry of Tourism and Consumer Protection.
The Minister for Tourism and Consumer Protection Julia Farrugia Portelli inaugurated this new look while presenting a financial grant to the Birżebbuġa History and Culture Association to be used for another project in the locality.
