Coronavirus update: 83-year-old man dies after testing positive for Covid-19

The Ministry of Health has just been informed that an 83-year-old man died after testing positive for Covid-19.

The man, who was in bad health, was confirmed positive for Covid19, on the day he was admitted to Mater Dei hospital on 16 September. He continued to be treated at Mater Dei Hospital where he died earlier today.

The Ministry of Health, while offering condolences to the relatives of the elderly, calls on the people to continue to follow the appeals of the Department of Health, including frequent hand washing, id social distance and mask use.
