The Ministry of Health has just been informed that a 98-year-old man died after testing positive for Covid-19.

The man, who was in poor health, tested positive for Covid-19 on September 6 when he was admitted to Mater Dei Hospital, from a nursing home. He continued to be treated at Mater Dei Hospital, where he died earlier today.

The Ministry of Health, while offering condolences to the relatives of the elderly, calls on the people to continue to follow the appeals of the Department of Health, including frequent hand washing, id social distance and mask use.
