The Ministry of Health has confirmed that two people died after testing positive for Covid-19.
In the first case, an 82-year-old man, who was confirmed positive for Covid-19 on December 19, died yesterday at Mater Dei Hospital.
In the second case, an 86-year-old woman, who tested positive for Covid-19 on December 13, died earlier today at Mater Dei Hospital.
The Ministry of Health, while offering its condolences to the families of the elderly, calls for everyone to remain vigilant and follow preventive measures even during these Christmas days, because only in this way to protect the most vulnerable in our society.
