The cease-fire agreed between Hamas and Israel appears to be back on track after Hamas said it would release three more hostages on Saturday as promised.
Israel had threatened to call off the cease-fire if the hostage release did not take place EU’s commitment to continue supporting the ceasefire and hostage exchange deal,after Hamas accused Israel of breaking the terms of the ceasefire agreement.
European Parliament President Roberta Metsola is currently in Israel to show the EU’s commitment to continue supporting the ceasefire and hostage exchange deal. She will meet leaders from both sides.
