Hibernians and Birkirkara are the first teams through to the quarter final of the Meridian FA Trophy after winning their last 16 games.
Hibs travelled to Gozo for their match against Qala and grabbed the lead after only five minutes when Lucas Villela reacted first when Bruno’s penalty kick was saved by Attard.
Villela made it 2-0 for Hibs just before the break and within five minutes of the second half, Hibs were 3-0 up when Bruno made up for his penalty effort.
At the Centenary ground, B’kara saw off Challenge League side Fgura United 3-0.
Paul Mbong opened the scoring after 7 minutes and ten minutes later Donovan Makoma doubled the score. Alex Satariano made it 3-0 on 52 minutes.
