Donald Trump marked his second term as President of the United States with a lengthy inauguration speech that began with a scathing attack on outgoing President Joe Biden and his administration describing it as corrupt and radical.
He followed that with a list of what he was going to do. Thousands of troops would be deployed to the US- Mexico border to stop people crossing illegally into the United States.
The Bay of Mexico he will rename the Bay of America.
He will take back control of the Panama Canal, claiming it is being run by China.
In a move bound to be contentious, he declared there will only be two genders in America. Male and female. Transgender and anyone else is banned and will have no legal status.

Later, when he entered the Oval Office he signed a raft of Executive Orders which included pardons for everyone imprisoned after the January 6 Capitol riots in 2021.
He signed an Executive Order pulling America out of the World Health Organisation.
