Business delegation to Saudi Arabia for Maltese operators in the property sector

A group of 42 entrepreneurs, including property developers, estate agents, financial consultants, and other real estate professionals, had the opportunity to explore the very latest advancements in their sector and some of the developments being built in Saudi Arabia, during a business delegation visit to this country.

Organised by Property Malta Foundation and led by Minister for Justice and Reform of the Construction Sector, Jonathan Attard, the visit provided a significant platform for Maltese industry operators to explore new business opportunities in the construction and real estate sectors.

During the visit, delegates participated in Cityscape Global, the largest international real estate investment and development event in the Gulf region, with more than 400 exhibitors and 500 speakers in 7 conferences. This exposure enabled Maltese businesses to connect with key stakeholders and engage in fruitful exchanges.

Minister Attard held high-level meetings with representatives from the Saudi Green Building Forum, the Minister of Municipality and Rural Affairs (Housing and Urban Development), and the Deputy Minister of Justice at the Ministry of Justice. The Maltese Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Dr Clive Aquilina Spagnol, who organised and facilitated these meetings was also present, further enhancing the dialogue on collaborative efforts in sustainable construction practices and urban development.

The delegation successfully facilitated networking opportunities that are expected to foster long-term partnerships and collaborations between Maltese operators and their counterparts in Saudi Arabia.
