PN organising protest against ministers and partner’s scandal

Clayton Bartolo, Clint Camilleri and Amanda Muscat

The Nationalist Party is to hold a protest outside Parliament on Monday following revelations involving the wife of Tourism Minister and the Minister for Gozo.

The Standards Commissioner found that Clayton Bartolo, the Minister of Tourism and Clint Camilleri, the Minister of Gozo, had broken Ministers ethics in employing Amanda Muscat in the role of a highly paid consultant for which she was not qualified.

Amanda Muscat was a secretary to Minister Bartolo and the pair eventually married. She held the post of consultant within the Tourism Ministery and later was employed as a special consultant at the Ministry of Gozo.
