Founded in Malta, the local company NEO Group has grown significantly in recent years and this is evidenced by the high quality jobs it has managed to create. In fact, from a team of 50 employees two years ago, it is now employing more than 150 employees with quality works locally and over 1,000 employees globally.
This was announced during a visit to the same company by the Minister for Economy, Enterprise and Strategic Projects, Silvio Schembri, in Ta’ Xbiex, as it was explained that NEO Group is known for its extensive portfolio that offers B2B services regarding marketing, advanced technology, data analysis, customer support and HR. With teams located across Europe, Asia and Africa, NEO Group places quality employment at the center of their operations.
During the visit, Minister Schembri pointed out that, “This is another success story that a company started here in Malta a few years ago and now they are expanding their operation. In just a year and a half, this company has more than doubled the number of employees in our own country. It is interesting to see the positive prospects for their continued growth, especially when you consider the quality of the jobs they are creating here in Malta. This goes hand in hand perfectly with the concept of the Budget that we want to see more companies like this flourish in our country because this is the future we want for Malta – strong and resilient companies that offer high quality jobs for the Maltese and Gozitan workers.”
The Managing Director of NEO Group, Dr. Daniel Degiorgio, expressed appreciation for the Government’s continued support and emphasized the company’s commitment to increase its operations and continued to say that, “it is fun to see the industry grow, and we grow together with it. This growth brings with it certain responsibilities and challenges, but we have always managed to overcome every obstacle. I believe that we are a company that has contributed to the good of Malta, particularly by creating high quality jobs and providing good working conditions.”
The company’s Head of Human Resources, Mr. Ilya A Komolov Kozlov, said that, “Over the years, we have experienced significant growth and expanded internationally, and now we are also offering IT solutions. Our goal is to continue to grow and offer opportunities in this area.”
This visit highlighted the Government’s commitment to the creation of high quality jobs, in line with the national priorities listed in the Budget and the main objective of Vision Malta 2050, i.e. a better quality of life . By giving help and support to innovative companies like NEO Group, the Government remains focused on investing in Maltese businesses and spurring a sustainable economy focused on quality.
