The musical event Summerdaze will return to our country on Thursday 15 August in Ta’ Qali National Park. This year’s edition will be welcoming in our country the internationally renowned artists Sam Smith and Becky Hill together with other foreign musicians from BBC Radio Dance Anthems, Charlie Hedges and friends Djing.
This year’s Summerdaze will also involve local artists including Shaun Farrugia as well as others whose names are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
These details were announced in a news conference addressed by the Minister for Tourism and Public Cleanliness Clayton Bartolo in the presence of the Chairman of the Malta Tourism Authority Gavin Gulia.
Minister Clayton Bartolo stressed how for another year we have another Summerdaze concert which is expected to attract a large number of foreign tourists but also Maltese and Gozitans to Ta’ Qali. “The fact that you have a mix of popular artists like Sam Smith and Becky Hill together with local faces in one evening is an opportunity to strengthen the visibility of our country in the world of entertainment,” stated Minister Clayton Bartolo.
