Another igaming company announces further investment

Around 5,000 people are attending the Next.io summit, about igaming which is being held at Dar il Mediterran for Conferences in the City.

While visiting this summit, the Minister for Economy, Enterprise and Strategic Projects Silvio Schembri said that such an initiative is a clear demonstration that Malta is considered a strategic location for this industry.

“This is possible thanks to the support that the Government gives to this sector and the strong eco-system that we have built between the regulator MGA, Gaming Malta and the private sector so that they all work together in synergy in “our country,” said Minister Schembri.

Meanwhile, also today, an igaming company that has been operating from Malta for the last nine years, Eeze, has announced that it will continue to invest and expand its operations in our country. “In the last few days this is the second igaming company that has announced that it will continue to expand its operation and substantially increase the number of workers. This is a clear demonstration of the trust that this industry has in our country and it is also a way of continuing to deliver top-level jobs to our young people,” added Minister Silvio Schembri.

Kurt Vella, Legal and Compliance Director of Eeze group said that: “During the last year and a half we have continued to increase our operation, and we have employed around 400 people in Malta, with most of the workers being Maltese We have grown and opened more live casino tables and our plan is to keep growing in the coming months, with this leading to more jobs. We have found Malta as a country with a good environment to continue growing our operation in this sector.”
