A 78-year-old man from Ħamrun, was seriously injured after being hit by a vehicle when he was crossing a road.
The accident occurred in St Joseph High Road on Sunday morning at about 9.45 am.
Police said that two cars were involved in a collision with one of the cars then hitting the elderly man.
The injured man was taken to Mater Dei Hospital.
