A 32-year-old man from Macedonia has been arrested in connection with a series of thefts from shops between June and November of this year.
Police said the suspect robbed shops in Valletta, Sliema, Qormi, Mellieha and Naxxar with mobiles, laptops and cash among the items stolen
According to police the stolen items had a combined value of around €150,000.
The suspect was arrested in St Julian’s on Saturday evening.
