Six young people were injured when they car they were travelling in collided with a pole.
The accident happened near Ta’Qali shortly before midnight on Friday.
The car was being driven by an 18-year-old from Siġġiewi. In the vehicle there were also two 18-year-old young men, from Zebbug and Qormi, an 18-year-old girl from Għaxaq and two other 16-year-old girls from Siġġiewi.
A medical team and members from the Department of Civil Protection are called to the scene.
Several ambulances were used to take them to Mater Dei Hospital.
One of the 16-year-old girls and the 18-year-old girl were only slightly injured in the accident. The other four are being treated for serious injuries.
