A 15-year-old youth was arrested in the early hours of Thursday morning after police received reports of a robbery from a boat in Xatt is-Sajjieda, Marsaxlokk.
Officers were given a description of a car believed to be used in the robbery and shortly after arriving at the scene, they spotted the vehicle.
The car drove off at high speed and officers gave chase and managed to stop the car several streets away.
The driver, aged 15 years was arrested. Police searched the car and found items believed to have been stolen from the boat. They also found several packages containing a substance believed to be cocaine.
Police investigations regarding this case are still ongoing.
