Malta claimed a well deserved 2-1 win against Albania in their second friendly as Stephen Gatt’s team prepares for the UEFA U19 Championships which will be held in Malta from July 3rd to 16th.
Alfie Bridgman gave Malta the perfect start with his 7th minute strike.
Albania drew level just before the break through Gent Elazaj.
Sven Xerri hit the winner with ten minutes remaining.
