Work by the Anti-Drug Police led to the arrest of a 32-year-old man in Madliena in connection with trafficking and possession of cocaine.
Police were tailing a car in Madliena on Friday afternoon as they suspected the driver had drugs in the car.
The driver apparently realised he was being followed by the police drove away at speed. In doing he hit a number of other cars.
Eventually officers stopped his car and he was arrested.
A search of his car revealed what police believed to be cocaine.
