A teenager sustained serious injuries in a five storey fall on Saturday morning, police said.
The accident happened at a construction site in Ramla Street, Mellieha, at 2.30am.
Police said that two teenagers from Austria had entered the site and climbed onto the roof when the 19-year old fell into a shaft.
A medical team and Civil Protection crew went to the site before the injured youth was taken to Mater Dei Hospital.
