Minister for Social Housing Roderick Galdes addressed a news conference in front of the new blocks of social housing in the area known as Sisla in Swatar, Birkirkara, announcing the completion of the project which includes 73 apartments. which will give new hope to about 73 families while offering a number of garages and ancillary services to the surrounding communities.
This project is part of the government’s historic initiative to develop 1,700 social housing units with an investment of up to 110 million euros, the largest social investment in the country’s history.
Minister Roderick Galdes described the project as a social monument that will not only meet the needs of today, but will remain in the hands of Maltese and Gozitans to continue to address the needs of future generations. .
