The Minister for National Heritage, Arts and Local Government José Herrera announced three investments in the locality of Marsa, which is also the Cultural Locality 2022. The investment of around € 570,000 involves the restoration of The Holy Trinity Church, the installation of a number of CCTV cameras, as well as a van for the Marsija community which will be operated by the Marsa Local Council.
Minister Herrera explained that although the church is still only 100 years old, there are a number of interventions that need to be done to prevent further deterioration and thus be able to preserve this building so that it can continue to be enjoyed by more future generations.
