Speaking at a Labour event in Nadur, Gozo, Prime Minister Robert Abela said, “ thanks to the coordinated and well-planned approach adopted by government, predictions showed it would be a good spring and good summer”.
Thanks to a high rate of booster vaccinations, Covid-19 restrictions would start to be eased from the first week of February.
Prime Minister Abela took a swipe at Opposition Leader Bernard Grech, accusing him of a u-turn on government measures to combat the virus. First Grech agreed with the measures, said the prime minister, then he changed his mind because of social media influence.
