An open space area adjacent to the Corradino Correctional Facility will be enhanced with new modern facilities after the Planning Commission gave the go-ahead for works to commence.
The project which will be carried out by the Paola Local Council will include the construction of a skatepark, installation of new playing equipment and outdoor furniture. To enhance the open area further a reservoir and fountain will be constructed while some more car parking spaces will be introduced. A number of trees will be planted to compensate for the uprooting of some trees for the project to be carried out.
These works will not only provide additional recreational facilities but ameliorate the visual appearance of the area.
