A 38-year-old Indian man who lives in Qormi was injured while carrying out maintenance work on a lift in Vjal ir-Riħan, San Ġwann.
The man’s feet were trapped when the lift slipped causing him serious injuries.
He was taken to Mater Dei Hospital.
The accident happened at 9.30 on Saturday morning.
