The wife and baby of Ivan Barbara who died of Covid-19 in India arrived back in Malta on Sunday evening.
Ivan Barbara had contracted the virus while in Delhi with his wife to adopt a baby and sadly passed away just as he was about to board an air ambulance flight to Malta. Because of the severe impact of Covid-19 in India, his body was cremated shortly afterwards in line with World Health Organisation measures currently in place in the country.
