With an investment of more than € 120,000, the work was completed by the Malta Tourism Authority together with the non-governmental organization Din l-Art Ħelwa on the restoration of the battery of the White Tower in Agħax tal-Mellieħa .
This was announced at a press conference by the Minister for Tourism and Consumer Protection Clayton Bartolo alongside the Chairman of the Malta Tourism Authority Gavin Gulia, the Executive President of Din l-Art Ħelwa Alex Torpiano as well as the Mayor of Mellieħa Dario Vella.
Minister for Tourism and Consumer Protection Clayton Bartolo pointed out that such an investment should lead to further strengthen Malta’s tourism product.
