These included the renewal of the drainage system and the replacement of the water supply network, including through the installation of a dual system. As part of the same project, a total of 1,100 square metres of new tarmac was laid.

Minister Clint Camilleri stated that this project is leading to concrete improvements in Gozitan localities and that “with the completion of the 17 residential roads we are continuing to implement one of the key measures of the Budget 2026 for Gozo. This is an investment that does not only focus on a new road surface, but on a modern and sustainable infrastructure starting from underground services. Through the collaboration with the Water Services Corporation we are ensuring that before the final works are carried out, residents have new water and sewage systems. We will continue to implement this programme in order to reach the target of 100 residential roads in three years.”

Minister for Gozo Clint Camilleri concluded by saying that the Ministry remains committed to continuing to carry out this residential infrastructure investment project, with the aim of more Gozitan families enjoying more modern, safer roads built on infrastructural services that will serve for years to come.

Photos (MFG)

<g transform="translate(0,332) scale(0.1,-0.1)" fill="" stroke="none"></g>

Minister for Gozo Clint Camilleri announced that the works on Triq San Duminku, Rabat have been completed, marking another milestone in the implementation of the Budget 2026 measure through which the Ministry for Gozo is carrying out the project of 100 residential streets in three years.
