Malta International Airport has been ranked the seventh best European Airport, according to travel group holidu.co.uk<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The travel experience isn\u2019t limited to the destination. The airport you fly from, and land at, plays a huge role in how a trip begins and ends, and with strikes and staffing shortages once again disrupting European airports over the summer, travellers are paying closer attention than ever to where they fly from.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To help travellers plan ahead, Holidu, the holiday rental portal, has analysed Google Maps reviews for 100 of the busiest airports in Europe to draw up its annual ranking of the best and worst airports for 2026. Based on thousands of ratings, the guide shows which airports offer a smooth, stress free experience, and which ones to brace yourself for. This year Istanbul holds on to the top spot, while Heraklion in Crete remains Europe\u2019s lowest rated airport. Closer to home, Liverpool John Lennon is the best rated airport in the UK, while Manchester is once again the worst.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Malta stands at No7, among the top rated airports across Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
