stable leadership and unity within the Government, during a mass meeting at the Victor Tedesco Stadium in \u0126amrun.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Addressing supporters, Dr Abela stated that recent European Commission forecasts confirmed that Malta continues to register strong economic performance despite international challenges.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">He said Malta has the fastest growing economy in Europe, with strong public finances and high levels of job creation.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">The Prime Minister drew a contrast between the Government and the Opposition, saying the Labour Party was presenting clear and costed proposals, while criticising the Nationalist Party\u2019s proposals as unprepared and inconsistent.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Referring to transport proposals, Dr Abela claimed that the Opposition had made what he described as a \u201c\u20ac900 million mistake\u201d and accused it of lacking understanding of economic fundamentals such as inflation and growth forecasts.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">The Prime Minister also highlighted the Government\u2019s IVF policy, saying that free IVF treatment introduced by the Labour administration had enabled more than 1,000 couples to become parents.<\/p>\n<p>He added that the Opposition had voted against the IVF measures when they were presented in Parliament.<\/p>\n<div class=\"pvc_clear\"><\/div>\n<p id=\"pvc_stats_57814\" class=\"pvc_stats all  \" data-element-id=\"57814\" style=\"\"><i class=\"pvc-stats-icon medium\"
